I want to get some copper shims for my 1526, but I don't know the exact dimensions I should get for each. Does anyone here know? Thanks in advance :)

There is no 1526 with dGPU. The only place you could put a shim is on the chipset, which honestly does not need it.

I feel bad doing this here, but I have an Inspiron 1526 and was wondering if you can add a GPU to it or not.

Again, as far as I know there is no 1526 motherboard with a dGPU, so you cannot add an internal dGPU to a 1526.

The 1526 already has a AMD Radeon x12xx or x13xxx GPU not sure which one right now in it already and you need to update to the latest BIOS if you to have Aero features. I have one and going to replace the inverter since it makes high pitch wine and that should stop the annoying sound. And I don't think this laptop needs a copper shim just some thermal paste on the CPU and GPU and that should do it.
