It works well with the router, but to reset my router to secure from unsecured, I need internet access. What drivers should I check for, and should the Dell wireless 1395 WLAN mini-card network adapter work for both, or should I install some other adapter?

    Thanks... Steve :D

Okay if it works with your router, you are saying it doesn't work? Are you trying to login into the router? Do you get activity lights?

Take a look at device manager and see whatrs missing.

Youre probably missing the driver for ethernet. You can find that on Dell's support site.

It doesn't work when I hook it directly to the computer to the cable modem, so I'm wondering if I'm missing some driver.

As far as looking in the device manager... I don't know what's supposed to be there.

Well you have wireless then go to Dell support site and download the ethernet driver.

Also check your settings that ethernet is turned ON.
