    It's not...it's just a less bulkier/weaker version of 1520.

I don't think it's worth the wait and money, the updates/upgrades seem very minimal. If your not a gamer i'd say go ahead and get a 1520 instead, otherwise get the 1530.

The 1520 is already gone. The 1525 has officially taken its place on Dells build page. However, you can still configure a Vostro 1500 with the beefy 8600 GT. If anyone is interested in the Vostro option they better hurry. Its possible that Dell will discontinue that as well and have a black looking 1525 vostro in its place. If so, getting the 8600 gt on a 15" dell is going to be more expensive forcing buyers to upgrade to XPS. This has been in the rumor mill and I am starting to believe this as Dells intentions as well. Expect to see (maybe) a 8400m and BD on the 1525 but I highly doubt the 15" inspiron will be a gamers notebook anymore. It looks like Dells strategic plans have shifted in a major way. I think part of the downgrading of options is due to their new push towards retail stores.. where dedicated GPU options are not as readily available.
