I was wondering had anyone seen or heard anything about the 1525? I know it was released in Australia but I still don't understand Australia's Dell site! At the top of the tab of the 1525 it says "Pre-Order Now. Available for Shipment from 09/01/2008*."..Anyone know if that meant today or does that mean September 01? Seems like along way off to be taking pre orders now if it is Sept..I am just hoping it isn't long before it is released in the US! Thanks Y'all!

It isn't in my neck of the woods yet, I am in Mobile, Alabama! Reckon I'll just have to sit back in wait, I am in no hurry! Thanks again!

seems alright, smaller, lighter and thinner. Good if you like the inspirion line.

The 1530 is still smaller, although that is a nice improvement on the Inspiron line

This is a joke. Isn't it? add hmdi and remove the dedicated graphics? Alrighty then. Will wait to see if they add dedicated graphics and if not I will go with the $379 Acer. I would have paid 50% of the cost of the Acer in taxes to Dell.
