I busted off a keyboard ZIF clip on a laptop I was working on. Now no matter what I try I can not get all keys to work. Contacted Dell and they can't give me the part number for the clip so I am able to order a new one. Can anyone by chance identify the part number of the connector or have any ideas as to how to make all keys work again when fixing the cable in it.

Attached a few pics to help identify/see what I am working with. I'd really like to not have to shell out $120 on a used mobo just to replace it.

You can try looking for a broken 1525 on eBay; people sell their dead laptops for scrap. Failing that, I don't think there's really any way to just get that clip, unfortunately.

That's exactly what I have done. Until just a couple hours ago all on ebay I could find were $120+. Finally found someone that posted a dead one for $25.
