I just replaced the screen on a 1525. Now I can't get any display at all. The screen is all white, with what looks like stars showing up on the left part of the screen.

The screen is the correct resolution, or at least the one I ordered is. The external display connection works, and when I run the diagnostic utility, it gives me an EDID error for the LCD.

Here's the catch: i can't get the screen out now b/c I stripped the hell out of one screw and can't get it out to save my life. I checked the cable and reseated it though, and it seems to be plugged in fine.

    Any help appreciated.

Where did you get the screen from? Also, go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a decent screw driver, they are only a few bucks if you get one with changeable bits. Mine comes in handy for computer repairs.
