I got my laptop last week.
I opened the pci mini card slot door.
Their are 4 extra antenna wires, I think the Grey/ White, Black/ White are for the WWAN card.
What are the Blue and Grey wires for ?
They look like they go to the WPAN slot.
What is the WPAN slot for ?

    Thanks for the help

WPAN = wireless personal area network

maybe for future expansion of Wireless USB (WUSB) or a mini pci-e bluetooth (which would explain the reason for two extra wires other than WWAN).

also, if you ordered WWAN and WLAN, the third slot could be for Intel Turbo Cache

(do not put the turbo cache card in the WLAN slot, it may cause damage (from manual))

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Turbo_Memory

IMHO, useless, hard to set up and keep running, and a waste of a slot.

wireless usb is not widespread yet, in fact i think there is only once consumer device using it so far. Wait maybe 3 months, it'll be all the rage.

just a small question: do u have wireless-n?

Turbo Cache is a joke. What they need to do is to make a dedicated solid state, low latency chips for the OS. I want 10 second boot times damnit!
