Hey, I couldn't find anything on this so I'm going to post a new thread

My laptop seems to make a weird grinding/rattling noise from the left/center of the keyboard. It kind of goes in a cycle, so that it pitches up, then down, up, then down, etc. It's done this before, and a shut down would fix it, but now it seems to always be there.

It's not the hard drive, I'm pretty certain (I know the sound from when I first got my laptop) and it's not the cpu whine or the headphone jack static. There aren't any problems besides the noise, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
