This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I don't... I think cases like that just beg "steal me I'm a laptop!" so I usually got for backpack style cases. Not to mention, they are easier to carry heavy 15.4" notebooks in ;).

    do you know of any backpacks that will fit the 1520 15.4" with a 9 cell?

    Any nice 15.4" backpack should work (like my JanSport that I love), but you'll probably need to yank out the 9 cell battery... I can't say until mine actually comes though :(

    my 1500 with 9 cell fits fine in my targus backpack i bought a few years back

    I either use the Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag for 15" widescreen notebooks, or a Case Logic neoprene sleeve I got at Wally World for $12 and slip it into my backpack.
