It seems the most common problem with dell screens lately is the grainy screen problem.
I have a different question though.
Would the screens ever have image burn? For example lets say I put memtest on for four hours and had a nap.....should i worry that i burned the darn thing?
-
Image burn is pretty much non existent on LCD's I think. That's only an issue with CRTs'.
-
LCD's do not have that problem. You could be safe. What they will do often times is after they are several years old, they might start to have image retention...but this is temporary unlike image burn.
-
Should be okay.
Would an LED display on an M1330 produce image burn if exposed to the same situation? -
The LED should make no difference, it isn't changing the screen itself, just the backlight.
AFAIK, burn in is only on CRT TV's/Monitors, DLP/Rear Projection TV's, and older Plasmas.
