Does anyone know if the problem with the inspiron 1520 screen latch problem (the screen not being held down firmly) has been fixed on the new batches?

Couldn't tell ya but I fixed the problem myself.. cut to small pieces of wood and took the palmrest off, stuck the perfectly sized pieces of wood in the holes, applies a dab of glue and bam, better then perfect.

It looks better the factory to..

That's nice, but i don't want to apply quickfixes like that to my lappy right out of the box just to get it up to parr.

Unlike ohiohockeymike, either of the 2 1520's I bought have a wobbly battery or headphone noise. Perfect, although mine had the jiggly latch.

Although the other 1520 I bought last week for my GF is perfect, besides for the lack of the T7300 option..Stupid Intel..

If you're battery wobbles blame Panasonic, they make the batteries for Dell.
