    How do i even get the thing to work? i have tried but its not working the slightest and i cannot even find an option for it...thanks

    first off to check if the hardware works, you can run Dell Diagnostics...

    it has a mic check

    select F12 at the bios screen when the bar is almost done (or you just could keep hitting F12).

    selected Dell Diagnostics

    after ~15 min of Memory Tests and other basics, it will ask if you want to keep running memory tests, say no and boot Dell Diagnostics Partition,

    when you are in Dell Diagnotics select Symptom tree and find microphone.

    It worked but it wont work on messenger for some reason
