just wondering, if i rub some 70% put isopropyl alcohol on my inspiron 1520 keyboard will that discolor the paint of the keyboard (silver)? what type of paint is it? i've read that you can use it to clean laptop keyboards however it also is used as a paint remover.

I've tried it and it doesn't discolor the keyboard. There is no paint on the keyboard; it's just silver plastic.
