    The battery sticks out a little less than 3/4 of an inch i believe...

    I really don't know... sorry.

    I just put my 1520 in my old Thinkpad case, and it fit like a charm, so kept it that way. :D

    is that the 6 cel battery or 9cell that sticks out....the fact that the battery even sticks out is really annoying

    Its the 9 cell. To be honest it doesn't look that bad. You should see the size of my friends 12 cell

    I have that case. It fits beautifully even with the big battery. Took me ages to find a case that I liked and that's the one I settled on.

    FYI I got it in "Winners" for under $40.
