Just for clarification, the dimensions of a 1520 are 14.12x10.59x1.47 ( i think) and the carrying case I am looking at shows it can hold laptops with dimensions of 15x12x2.25. I chose the 9 cell battery and forget how much extra it sticks out. Here is the case I am looking at http://www.memoryexpress.com/index....ctDetail.php&DisplayProductID=7929&SID=222916 (Canadian price). Will it hold my 1520?

The battery sticks out a little less than 3/4 of an inch i believe...
-
bump, will it fit? Also, is that case any good? I would prefer getting one off that site.
-
I really don't know... sorry.
I just put my 1520 in my old Thinkpad case, and it fit like a charm, so kept it that way. -

Its the 9 cell. To be honest it doesn't look that bad. You should see the size of my friends 12 cell
-
Only the 9-cell sticks out.
Edit: Beat me to it.. -
here are pics from another thread:
This is the 9-cell battery. The 6-cell is flush w/ the laptop.

I have that case. It fits beautifully even with the big battery. Took me ages to find a case that I liked and that's the one I settled on.
FYI I got it in "Winners" for under $40. -
You're talking about the IBM case that I have?
I love it too.
All leather, and it fits like a charm. -
Sorry no, I meant the case the OP is looking at. Shoulda made that clear. My bad.

Now i'm sad.
