    Will the 1520 stay cool enough while gaming for 2-3 hours, or do you need an external cooling pad? If so, which cooling pads work best with Inspirons?

    Actually it is really quite a cool computer. It outputs a lot of heat but mine stays relatively cool after gaming for 5 plus hours straight. I probably will get a cooler sometime just because that is the way I am...

    I find that Dells are always much cooler in terms of heat. I wouldn't think it would be a problem

    I've just finished four hours of online gaming and my 1520 is very cool.
