    4-6 hours on "Power Saver" mode.

    5.25 - 6 hours on the power saver mode..... well... i never actually ran it that long...i ran it for about 3 hours and still had roughly half charge... so its gotta be somewhere in that range...

    Got the 6 cell. Ran for 3 hours on balanced mode. Still had 20% charge left when I plugged it back in.

    mm...sorry for asking such a...-cough- question, but how do you put a laptop on power save mode? ^_^;

    Click on the battery icon in your system tray in Vista.

    What does it do? Put brightness to zero and put the processor performance to 50% ?

    Turns certain things off like your network card if you arent using it. Turns the brightness down. Most cpu's underclock when not being used heavily

    Would having the 1420 laptop (14" screen) allow for longer battery life in each charge?
