    1520 battery issue

    i have inspiron 1520. the problem is that the battery icon
    on right side of keyboard is flashing 4 times red and 1 time
    blue.what does that mean??

    Does your battery work? Either it's actually dead or it think it's dead.

    The battery icon flashes a mix of red and blue when you are below 10% battery, but are charging the battery. I don't recall if it's 4 reds per 1 blue, and my battery is over 66% charged right now so I won't be able to test soon, but if your battery is low, that might be the cause.

    no my battery is fully charged.no matter wheather if i use lappy
    on power supply or battery it does the same thing if the
    battery is inserted but if i took out the battery and run
    it on mains then this does'nt happen..
