I guess Im just looking for some peace of mind. The right hinge attaching the lcd creaks when I start to pull the lcd screen toward me from and open position. Anyone elses? Could this be the sign of a broken hinge? Help me out ladies and gents, Im relatively new to notebook probs as Im mainly a desktopper. Thanks!

I don't know what might be causing that, but I've owned 6 or 7 laptops and never heard that before.

Alright so Im feeling a bit better. I brought the lappy to a dell certified tech on campus. Dude fixed my lappy. Im an idiot though. All he did was pull out a tiny screwdriver and tightened both the screws that connect the lcd to the bottom chassis. :D For some reason my hinge came lose. If it keeps happening Ill get some loc tite or something. Cheers!
