Where is the best place to buy Ram from, preferably in the UK?

Try crucial - guarantee compatibility and do a 2GB kit for £56 with free p+p

    http://www.crucial.com/uk/

Shop around though as sometimes ebuyer/dabs/overclockers offer crucial memory cheaper than they sell themselves ;)

    Are you looking for 2 x 1GB or 1 x 2GB (to give 2.5GB on board)?

For 2 x 1GB start at Crucial or ebuyer.
    or Dabs.

I'm not sure where the current best place is for 1 x 2GB. MemoryC is about £80 including postage. Crucial starts at about £90.

This OCZ 800MHz 2GB should work at 667MHz (800MHz modules are working in Zeptos at 667MHz). I'm tempted to get one and try it - it is currently cheaper than the slower modules.
