i love my new 1520 , no graininess (that i can see) , no sounds, does get pretty hot though (just sitting on my desk playing chess titans)... but at the risk of showing my apparent stupidity, my question is about my connection to the internet... my laptop recieves the signal just fine from the router...has the encryption key and all that jazz matched up, but i am unable to connect to the internet... (i'm on my desktop now)...i have the Intel 4965AGN Wireless-N Mini Card... and i dont know if it is this,my network, or vista that is to blame... my brothers dell 1705 works just fine, and i have used the internet with my laptop at someone elses house and it worked. in addition, i was able to use the internet when i first received my beautiful machine.. but now it wont work.. so i'm kinda confused as to the problem.... i have not altered anything from when i was last able to get onto the internet on my laptop so i dont get why it randomly wont connect..i have DSL and a 2 wire router.... if anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome

Try these steps in order. If one does not work then move to the next one.

    1. Restart the computer and the Router (unplug the router for about 20 seconds to "restart" it)
    2. Go to Start -> Connect To and see if you can see any networks.
    3. Try clicking the "Diagnose and Repair" menu item when you right click in the network symbol in you taskbar (the one with the two computer screen and will probably have an "X" through it because you are not connected to a network)
    4. Scream and shout.
    5. Try plugging you computer directly into your DSL (bypass the router)
    6. Reload the network card drivers.

If they all fail, post back here with some info on what you experienced.

If one works, post back and tell us which one.

I would recommend doing the "Diagnose and Repair" as LiveDeisng said. Surprisingly, that actually worked/works for me.

the diagnose and repair doesnt fix the problem..., and i know i can see the networks, but it will not connect to my network...well, actually it connects, but has "limited access" which i cant do anything with...screaming and shouting helped me vent for a little bit, but unfortunately, it didnt fix anything...and what i dont understand is that i still have the same "limited access" when i plug my computer in to the DSL... the only thing i havent tried is reloading the network card drivers, how do i do that?

Limited access might mean go create a connection maunally and do all the stuff it says

Try what Crimsonman said and if that does not work then I will write up something about reloading network card drivers.

Stop using ellipses (...) and use some damn periods.

Your IP address should not be the same because you're using a router. The three computers you have should be consecutive in the last digits.

You should be able to download the network drivers from Dell's site.
