    1520 Jet Black Order to Shipping Times.

    Hey there, I'd like to know about people's experiences when ordering a 1520 Jet Black. Tell us about when you put you're order in, how long it took it to get to the build stage, then the testing phase, boxing, then shipping. I'm just curious to find out the average times, for a complete Jet Black 1520 to be assembled and shipped.

    Well I ordered on the 30th and had it ship on the second, A Monday order date and a thursday ship date, so 4 days in my case.

    I almost wonder if the LCD screens come with the color attached. That may explain the weird delays.

    (Ex. why they had the same screens for the blacks but none for the reds etc)

    After reading about people getting their laptops faster with black I had to give it a shot. Not a bad color anyway...

    Just a little advice for those who don't know...Ordering over the phone actually saved me a few hundred bucks on my re-order and that is after I upgraded my HD and added some more blue tooth options and added the lowest warranty (for the 6 month no interest). Anyway...I would advise calling in...if not only for a price.

    I called in to place my order too, but I got the same price as I would've online and a longer esd. Online, it said the 16th, but the rep gave me the 20th, so I don't know what the difference was.

    I know some people might say that requesting expedite to your order is time wasted, but believe me, people are still doing it. You might want to use "Online Chat" to do so for your order as well or yours might be getting pushed behind everyone else. Also, you may be able to get a refund on shipping if you paid for shipping, or get a free shipping upgrade due to the delay. Wish you Luck!
