Today I noticed for the first time with my Inspiron 1520 the battery light was flashing red. It wasn't for the power adapter being plugged in, so I assume because the laptop was pretty hot (I just close the lid and go about my business) that happened.

Later today I went out, again closing the lid and when I got back I saw the light flashing red again and when I opened up lid I had a blue screen! I rebooted and have the laptop running cool and the light is blue as usual.

Is it an overheating issue? Is there something I should look out for? I can't get on to Dell online chat support to ask them.
