What kind of battery life can I expect for the 1520 with the 6 volt versus the 9 volt? I'll have the 8600 GT and at least the T7300 processor. Is it worth it to buy their upgrade or can I buy an equivalent battery somewhere else?

I have the 9 cell on my Inspiron 6400, and I have the T7400 processor, and the ATI x1400 video card and I get around 5-6 hours of battery life. I recommend the 9 cell.

The Dell rep told me the 6 cell lasts around 4 hours while the 9 cell lasts around 6 hours.

But this was from the same rep who told me the 9 cell battery doesn't stick out

If you do simple task like browsing, word processing, 3.5 hrs with ~50% brightness, if you can do your task with the lowest brightness 0%, you ca get 4 hrs
