    That's what I did and have, and I only got 2984, but I'm running Vista. He has to be running XP, or else I'm gonna have to ask him what he did :D.

    btw, after I got the lappy, I did a binary wipe of the harddrive, reformatted and then installed all the updated drivers. I was stoked to see the benchmark considering ive been watching everyone elses. It is odd though. As this was the free version, all settings were default; 1280x1024 etc... :confused:

    Hey guys, I just reran 3dmark06 because this thread made me want to (just to see if I would magically get a higher score). Well I did some tweaks before running it... turned off McAfee, changed to classic, and... I GOT 300 POINTS HIGHER!!! 3284!!!
