Hi, was planning on buying a 1520 from USA, is about 30% cheaper for me. My cousin would send it over to me. He would test it before he sends it to me.

What's bad about this is it isn't my language layout on keyboard, (could prob install vista swedish..) and that I'd need 3yrs warranty to not have to send it over to USA if something would need to be repaired..

But the question is, what do I have to think about before buying it? I wouldn't want to send it back just because it isn't "the laptop for me".

1st, the headphone jack. Some hear the buzzing electric sound, some don't. What to do about it? Use another sound card? (Would want to use the regular sound output, hate to compromize like that) Or just hope that I don't get a bad headphone jack?

    Anything else?

Grainy display, as mentioned by some in this forum. I ordered a vostro. Hoping that it never has those probs.

    Tjena!

Are you really, relly sure about this. 30% cheaper but without a swedish keyboard... That would drive me nuts. Have you checked what a spare keyboard is and are planning to swap it? If not I think you will regret it.

As the Vostro is just a black Inspiron in essence, it is almost certain to have the same screen.

No negatives. The laptop is phenominal... Think of it as a Mid level Game/Multimedia/Utility laptop. (Game - is assuming you get the 8600gt)
I have had no problems. About to go stand in line for Harry Potter...

I know he is probably going to die but I hope he lives...
