    1520 - Noisy Hard Drive

    Anyone else have a 1520 in which the hard drive is noticeably loud? It's louder than my previous laptop, that's for sure. And I can hear it above my laptop cooler. Is this normal?

    Do you have the 5400 or 7200 RPM drive?

    I have the 5400rpm one. It's fairly "clicky", too. I'm not sure if it's an issue or not.

    clicky is not good

    but just in case go to your bios and see if you can change it to a quiet setting

    Putting it into quiet mode in the bios didn't help. Still the same sound level. Is this an issue then?
