the new 1505s don't come with wuxga lcds. i currently have perfect wuxga lcd on my 6000. no dead pixels, perfect light spread. is it possible to buy a 1505 and swap out the lcd so i can have wuxga resolution on my 1505?

Hmmm... thats a really good question. I suppose you could since It's the same machine less the GPU and CPU. However I think It might require the use of your i6000 display drivers. Or some other software related mod, tweak or hack.

I"m with Jason. It seems logical that you could swap them out, but the support would come from the video card drivers - so that might be where you will have a problem at.

The E1505 video card drivers might only be set to recognize the current screens being offered for the 1505.
