Just ordered a e1505 duelcore/80gb/512 ram/dvdrw/glossy screen/950 video($863 w/o tax) (shipping 3/28) wana get the second 512from another party (newegg for around $50 appox). is that the right step. plus i wanna get a 9cell batt. could have upgraded my order (for xtra 100 $) but i figure i could buy one for that much and have two (with the 6 cell that was included) . Is Dell the only (best) option for a spare batt.?

Most of the time you can find batteries on ebay alot cheaper. Personally, i got mine for a online vendor - something like laptopbatteries.com . It was around the same price that Dell was offering, but i was going to get it alot quicker.

I got genuine Dell batteries from ebay and they were $71 each after shipping. They work fine. I'm wondering if E1705 batteries will fit in E1505 batteries. My batteries are 9 cell model U4873 - will this work for the E1505?
