Is a 15.4" LCD WUXGA(1920x1200) or WSXGA+(1680x1050) good? Dell Inspiron 6000 has an option to upgrade from WXGA(1280x800) for only $100/$200. Could anyone using 15.4" LCD WUXGA or WSXGA+ tell your feeling about this? Are the fonts too small, or you are used to it only in days?

I can't find a store to have a real look in Toronto, Canada[ :(]

It is totally a personal preference. I personally think it is too small, but some people do like it. I know Best Buy carries a couple of WUXGA screens, but they are on 17" screens. Maybe that could give you a ballpark estimate. All the other laptops they carry are XGA or WXGA. Good Luck.

the texts on my 17" WUXGA I9300 is on the small side, I would *hate* to be straining my eyes at that resolution on a 15".

I'd say don't get it! 15" is wayyy too small to have wuxga resolution.

    cheers,

Well I completely disagree. I have a 6000D w/the 1900 X 1200 15" screen. The text is extremely sharp, and not small at all. I say go for the better screen.

You could always try it out and return it if it is too small. Dell has a 21 day return policy.
