So I just got a 14z from the outlet and the screen has a horrible blue tint to it. Not like a theater gel type tint, but it is a VERY cool temp. I've tried a few different monitor profiles that I've gotten from the web and they seem to do something, but not the right thing. No matter what I use the colors always seem off. Plugged into my external monitor things look fine over hdmi.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking I may just send this back and try and get a new one. I'm getting a headache from trying to use this machine and I have never had this issue before with any of the laptops that I have bought in the past. I'm going to swing by Best Buy and take a look at what they have on display and see if those machines look the same.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

The nVidia control panel should have color correction settings, allowing you to experiment and set your own levels of the RGB channels. My 1555 had a slight blue tint as well. I toned down the blue and turned up red slightly and it looks great now.

When I get home this evening I'll try and adjust some of the settings again and see what I can come up with. Is it the fact that LED lighting is making it look like this?

Is there something I can use to try and calibrate it? Has anyone calibrated one of these before and has a profile to try out perhaps?

Ugh. I'm pretty annoyed by this now. I can't seem to get this to look proper. Mainly cause I don't know what I'm doing...
