I have a 14r N4010 that I am repairing. It has a dim screen, works on an external monitor. Replaced the LED screen with a new one, same result. I have searched the mother board for a LED fuse to replace but can't find it. Can anyone enlighten me as to the location of the fuse?

    Thanks,
    DP

more than likely its a SMT type fuse, you would have to dig up a schematic diagram, hard to find those.

but when you say dim is that some light or a dark screen with an image ?

When you replaced the screen, did you replace the video cable ?

Dark screen, with an image, if it was a LCD screen I would change the inverter. Yes tried a different cable, no luck. Was hoping it was as easy to fix as the 15".
