    Hello,

I just bought a new 14R and powered it on. I noticed that if I look at the screen closley, there are lines that goes down. It doesn't seem like its from a damage but more of a graphics issue or something. I have the i3 with the basic graphics card.

I read that people with the 15R have grain screens? Is this the same thing with the 14R?

I only notice these times if I look closely but there are no lines on my studio 17. The lines are more noticeable on a white background as on a website.

    This common for 14r's?

    Thanks

    Have you tried:

    Reinstalling graphics driver.

    Reseat RAM/HDD

Replace RAM with known good RAM.
