I'm currently waiting for my 1440x900 resolution M1530.

Of course as you know a 1280x800 had I opted for it would have put less strain on the GPU so of course I'm losing FPS.

My question is how much do I need to overclock the 8600m GT to get those extra FPS back.

Dude play your games at 1280x800 if you are so worried about performance and everything will be fine and smooth...

Yes thats fine but your post doesn't help. Playing at non-native resolution doesn't look as good.

Anybody who has dabbled in a little overclocking of their 8600m GT on a higher resolution screen want to help?
