Well, couple of days ago i ordered the below laptop from dell outlet... was needing something for traveling (journalist/video editor for a website) and for school and a lil gaming (play wow like once a week if that right now) ... needed to upgrade from my pismo (yikes!) haha ... i didn't really research...just went off the advice of a good friend of mine

    well here they are

    Intel Core2Duo T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/4MB cache)
    128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
    2gb ddr2 (667mhz) memory
    160GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)
    dvd writer
    intel 3945 a/g wireless card
    bluetooth
    webcam
    9 cell battery
    Anti-glare Screen
    jet black is the color

    software:
    Windows Home Vista Premium
    Office 2007
    Roxio Creater

got if off dell outlet for $1200

    opinions?

and i've seen those usb coax converters...are those worth the money or should i spring for a slingbox?
any other accessories maybe i should think about buying?

edit: i will get you all pictures of everything on monday when i get it

Depends on your needs I guess... I would have recommended the 8600M GT 256MB for gaming, but if you're doing really light gaming that card could do it i guess...

Since I only paid $200 more than you I think that setup is a bit pricey...
