Just a couple of days ago, me and my friend were playing Oblivion on my Inspiron 1420. My friend was playing, and moved his hand to point at something on the screen. Instead of just "pointing", he basically jabbed the screen with his finger. Not a super hard jab, but a kind of swift, medium hard jab.
My question is whether or not this could have damaged the screen in ANY way.
When I look at my screen, there doesn't seem to be a problem, but for some reason, I'm real concerned.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The hinges would most likely give before any real damage could be done to the screen. In any event, you'd notice any damage.
