After receiving it in the mail, I immediately upgraded to 2GB RAM (used ram) for $40 and sold the 1GB that came with it for $20, so that's another $20 in cost if you want to factor that in.

omg, you people are so lucky to have coupons and all these weird savings. I ordered from Canada and I feel like I got ripped off now. =.=

although if I got it without warranty and antivirus it would've been $1139...

I did the same thing... I then called dell's resolution because I wanted to return the system... she told me she can knock of $75 bucks. i told her i'll call her back.... took my time, called her back. I countered her at $200 discount ( I knew It wasn't gonna happen but I wanted roam for negotiation)... She went up to $125 and I came down to 150.... we agreed at 150.

Dell DOES NOT want your used laptop back. They rather cut corners, break even but they dont want your used laptop.

 

They were more than happy to take mine back...

 

They weren't happy, but I was not in the mood for haggling so they will get it on Monday.
