I read a review about some guy talking about MOST 1420's having a "audio stutter" problem. He says it's impossible to listen to music on the 1420 because it skips/stutters, but everything about the computer is great.

    Anyone else have this problem??

Some of us have had this problem with the M1330 and other laptops with multiband wireless cards (like the Dell 1505 Draft-N mini card).

I don't know if your problem is wholly related, but it's worth a shot. I found music unlistenable until I found the fix:

Disable the wireless radio's a-band capability.

How do you just disable the "a" band?

I don't know if its the same problem, but I already sent back two 1400's that had random skipping sounds when I listen to the audio. No problem with the video on the DVD's, just that skipping sound on the audio. They both had the Dell 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card which DeaconBoogie pointed out might be the problem. onlycurious, what was that big thread?

Thanks onlycurious. Also, just did an advanced search for "jrsryder" and came up with a few more threads that appear related.
