I ordered one of these from the Dell outlet (My X60 tablet is just too damn small and isn't worth $1600 imo) and was curious. I got the 14.1" screen. Is this just going to be a 15.4" chassis with a 14.1" screen, or is it basically a 1401 with the AMD CPU instead of Intel?

It has the 15.4" chassis with a 14.1 screen, so quite a thick bezel sorrounding the screen.

Sort of defeats the purpose (read: increased portability) of having a smaller screen on the notebook doesn't it?

Its basically a 1501 (e1505 chassis without media buttons) with a 14.1 screen. I’ve seen one and it looks ridicules. Cancel the order and change it to a 15.4.

Or they are intentionally trying to fool people in to believing that they are actually getting a smaller notebook

I cancelled and won't be ordering anything from Dell. I'll just keep the Thinkpad.
