    14 inch vs 15.4 inch...pictures side by side?

    anyone have pics with 14 inch laptop and 15 inch laptop side by side? Im debating whether 1400 or 1500 is the one i will order. The 1400 is gonna cost an extra 100 over the 1500 so i wanna nkow if its worth it.

    You might try a Dell Kiosk in the mall if you are in the Americas. You might be able to see the 1420 and 1520 for comparison there. Since the 1400 and 1500 are black inspirons that's the best way I can think of to truly compare the two. You may also go to a brick store like BestBuy and check out the size difference between various 14.1 and 15.4 models.

    I can't provide Dell photos but here is, left to right, 12.1" Samsung Q35; 14.1" Zepto 6024W; and 15.4" Samsung X60 plus.

    You will see that the 14.1" is significantly smaller that the 15.4". The notebook size difference is effectively the square of the difference in the screen diagonal, so it is around 20%. This is a lot if you are considering portability.

    i personally feel that 14" really is the sweet spot for a laptop (at least for me)

    I've looked at many as well and 14.1 is nice, but since my 1330 not comming I'm thinking of getting MacBook 13.3 screen.
