Down to the wire here. I was wondering if anyone has any info on power consumption differences between the 135M and the 140M. Is the difference neglibile or worth consideration by someone looking for a dedicated gpu but longer battery life.

Are you counting every minute of battery life? I am pretty sure the difference is negligible.. Which laptop are you looking at?

X3100 will have better life than the quadros

I'm looking at the 830. I want to be able to game, but have as long a battery life as possible. The games I play aren't terribly graphics intensive so 128 vs. 256 isn't as much of an issue and neither is price.

No, both consume 10W Active power. So no difference.
