1330m Delayed Again! July now October!!

Unbelivable I ordered my XPS 1330 at the start of July to be told it would be delivered by the end of the month, it got delayed to today and just found out that the new delivery date is October 1st!!!!

What are they doing at Dell!!!!

Looks like I will spend my money elsewhere. Any suggesions?

 

If i could get a laptop with the same specs i'd cancel mine too.

But you either have to go bigger, or worse spec.

Not interested in either unfortunatly.

Oh and you post in the order status part at the top of the dell section.

 

How 'bout the Sony SZ's? Samsung and LG's have Santa Rosa offerings in 13.3" with dedicated graphics.

You could always, put up a thread in the "What Notebook I Should Buy?" section.

And yeah, October wait time is ridiculous.

 

we dont have the SZ6's in the UK yet.. dunno about the LG's

 

There's also Asus, the W7S if you don't mind not being able to go more than 2.5GB of RAM, and the F9S 12.1" when it's released.

Sorry, I'm not that well versed in ultraportables, though I'm sure other people could give you much better advice if you're really serious about not getting the Dell.

 

The W7S looks ok but we rarely get the highest spec asus laptops in the UK plus their support in europe is a joke.

The Dell is for lack of a better word..perfect. Well it would be if it was in my hands anyway lol

October? By then every laptop maker will have models better than the 1330 and cheaper... Plus they probably made hundreds off the interest of your payment.

If mine is not released before hte SZ6 hits the shelfs in the UK ill DEFO get the SZ6 i dont care what the cost is..... Dell have screwed up big time with this...

 

I don't write much, I cancelled mine yesterday. It was also moved to 2nd october, I ordered it in July.

I just told them sorry but I will buy an other one.

The one I ordered now is the Zepto 6224. It has the same price for me + bigger screen 14" instead of 13", better videocard, faster CPU, double the memory 4G instead of 2, same weight (dell was ordered with the biggest 9 cell battery), 200GB HD 7200RPM, etc.......

And they promised to deliver for the end of this month.

So why waiting for that stupid Dell

 

Just cancelled mine too - ordered July 7th, new delivery date October 3rd. A 3 month wait for a laptop is ridiculous!

I ordered my m1330 on July 25th, and the delay caused it to be deliverd by End of SEPTEMBER - Early OCTOBER.
By then, the specs i ordered will be outdated, and probably cheaper by then.
Am I able to cancel or upgrade d specs. Id just want to upgrade to T7300 or higher.
I currently ordered T7100.
