The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    1330 with LED not available in Canada for another 2-3 months!!!

    Just to let anyone know who is waiting for Dell to bring back the LED option in Canada on the 1330, a Dell rep told me today the deletion is due to shortage issues and they will not offer it again for another 2-3 months.

    Not sure how reliable that is.

    They also said the 1530 will not be offered with an LED option (at least not in Canada).

    Tough decision for me if I should wait 2-3 months for the 1330 with LED or just get the CCFL now?!

    just get the regular lcd, its not that much of a difference.
