I saw on the direct2dell blog that in the front right corner, below the expresscard slot, there is some sort of wifi detector. Anyone have details? I'm assuming this comes standard. I can't seem to find a screenshot that points it out. Not a big deal since I have a detector already, but cool none the less.

It's standard. Allows you to check if there is a wireless hotspot without switching on.

I've seen it work on a D420. Basically, with the notebook off, you hold the switch in place (it is spring loaded to force it back to the off position) and a little amber light came on to indicate service was detected if I recall correctly.

It's actually called the WiFi catcher
