I've got my 1330 last night. It looks cool and everything seems to be OK so far.

    Just wonder about several things:
    1) The DVD driver is Mat****a UJ857G. Is it good or bad?
    2) The hardware ID of the monitor is LPL0000. Is it made of LG?
    3) What software do you guys recommend to install on 1330?

The Mat drive seems to be the standard slot loader they are putting in both the 1330 and 1530. I haven't had any problems with it.. I do wish they would release a firmware update so the drive is more compatible with different media.

The LPL0000 is an LG screen.

As far as software.. Uninstall and crap that came pre-installed, especially any anti-virus/spyware programs and install AVG Free.

    Thanks stevey5036.

I have a more serious and stupid question: Where is the DVD driver located and how can I open it?

I cannot find either the door or the eject button. When using the Eject command in Windows Explorer's context menu, I heard the sound, but nothing happens.

It is a slot loader, there is no door. The eject button is located next to the media buttons/power button under the screen.
