After tossing my Dell BT mouse out the window for not wanting to work properly when coming out of standby I purchased a Logitech USB mouse which works perfect when coming out of standby.

The problem I have is my Touchpad settings will not stick after coming out of standby or on a reboot. The Logitech mouse settings are fine. Using the Dell Touchpad utility to set the Touchpad Speed and the setting will not stick upon reboot.

    Any have a clue?

Even using the Vista BT stack only the Dell BT mouse would not come on out of standby or it would not show up at all in the BT settings.

I am loving this 1330 more and more every day.

Which driver? The Dell Touchpad or the Logitech USB?

I have exactly the same problem, that's why i never install both setpoint or touchpad driver together. Just one .

yes, same problem here. Always need to configure the setting once in a while.
As long as you don't reboot your pc, the setting should be fine.
    That's my experience though.

Remove KHALMNPR.EXE from your registry Run key. It's installed by the Logitech driver and it's repsonsible for resetting the Windows (i.e. touchpad) mouse settings to default at every startup.

That seemed to solve the problem with the USB mouse.

    Thanks!
