I currently have a little 3 lb. Dell D420 laptop. It's got a 12.1" screen with 1280x800 resolution. Now I'm thinking about maybe getting an m1330 with a 13.3" screen (also 1280x800 resolution). Either that or an m1530, but I'm concerned that might be too big/heavy compared to what I'm used to.

Anyway... anyone have any pics showing the actual difference between a 12.1" screen vs. a 13.3" screen? (both with 1280x800 resolution)

I'm very curious to see how much larger the 13.3" screen "appears" compared to the 12.1" screen.

Do a google search for m1330/m1210 reviews. There are a lot of pictures already on the Internet showing exactly what you're looking for.

There isn't really that big of a difference. I went from an m1210 to m1330 at work (and have an m1330 at home). The only reason I preferred the m1210 for work is it's slightly more convenient to carry around compared to the m1330. As far as the display goes, I can't say I really noticed the screen "appearing" any larger.

    Great idea. I'll do that.

I had tried searching m1330/d420 comparisons, but the d420 is not nearly as popular as the m1210.

    Interesting. Thanks for the info.

I've owned both the M1210 and the M1330. I thought the M1210 would be too small, but it worked out quite well for me. I never gamed on it, but I doubt you would want to. The M1210 was almost exactly the size of a piece of printer paper, so you can use that to compare it to the M1330.
