    Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has heard news about a 12" portable, similar to the 600/610m, with core duo releasing this year? If so, what is the approx release date? Thanks.

    I suppose you mean the 700m/710m. I personally haven’t heard any news about 12" core duo notebooks from dell yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if they come out in the next couple of months.

    I'm like Jason. I haven't heard anything, but Dell should be releasing a 12in eventually. I'm not exactly sure when they will release it though since Merom will be coming out soon.

    Merom is the successor of Core Duo.

    I can imagine what you are about to ask. Core Duo was just released a few weeks ago, but Intel has already announced a new processor to follow it. It should be released during the summer, I believe - not 100% on that.
