Alright, its been about 7 days for me now , and i am enjoying it. It felt 10 :)
Here are a few things that i found answers too using my system, mostly you wont find anywhere properly ...
    1. HDMI is 1.3 and i got a HDMI 1.3 cable 15ft for about 5$ and it can transfer HD AUDIO too over the cable. So its both sound and video over the same cable and it works flawlessly.
    2. I have 1080p screen so my signal is 1080p , but my TV is most likely 720p (VIZIO 32 inch 2 years old - bought from costco) and i am able to see very well , it automatically converts from 1080p to 720p and it looks perfect on TV and i can hear the TV audio is stereo.
    3. Sometimes i can here fan, but overall the system stays cool. Sometimes i find my touchpad is a little warmer than the palm rests, but its not unbearable.
    4. keyboard backlight is too good, i love it.
    5. System has worked predictably and perfectly , no crashes as yet :)
    6. overall the feel is great.

    Issues
    1. Sometimes. maybe 2 times i heard click sound, dont know from where ... but it was only 2 times.
    2. Not having caps lock indicator or any other indicator (except battery charging, power and webcam) is a bad bad idea, that sucks, though its ok, i will get over it for sure.
    3. top left corner of the screen, i see a very very small grey area, though its not dead pixel , since when i see it from close, i can see all pixels on ..it could be some internal dust, i presume, but normally i dont notice it ..

Did you get the Edge-to-Edge display?

What is an edge-to-edge display anyway? Does it literally mean that the viewable area of the screen extends all the way to the corners with zero border?

Or is it like the MBP scam where it basically just means that the piece of glass stretches to the edges but there's still some black borders between the actual edges of the notebook and the viewable area?

Yes, it means the screen is like the new MBP. I don't think that's really supposed to be a scam though... but whatever.

Yeah, the Edge-to-Edge display is basically a panel of glass that covers the entire display and bezel. It is easier to clean, but sometimes dust can get trapped between the glass panel and display, which is a real pain to clean. It's a common issue with the Studio XPS 16, so I've heard.

This one has been picking my brains since I ordered...

Does the eSata/USB act as a simple USB port?

May sound stupid but I've never seen or used one before?

Yes, the combo port can be used as a plain old USB port. Although it is a slightly tighter fit than a standard USB port.
