So as I just posted in another thread I ordered my e1707 and I was extremely excited. Now I go to dell's site and learn that the price of most of the componets including the T2600 has dropped. The price of a fully configured e1707 with a T2600, and better warranty, ends up cheaper than the one i ordered with the T2500! I just ordered it wednesday and it has not reached 'boxing' phase yet.
Should I/how would I talk to dell about this? Would they just tell me to screw off or what? I find it really frustrating and infuriating that a better machine (if only slightly) and better warranty turns out to be around $400+ cheaper than one i ordered three days ago.

call dell...or look online and see if you can cancel it...even if a slight restocking fee applies, it may be worth it.

Call Dell for a price adjustment. They may or may not give it to you, but if your order hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel it without any problems & have Dell replace an order for you. The only disadvantage to that is that your ordered will be delayed a couple business days. Good luck.

EDIT: In case you need it, here's the link to online chat ( CLICK) Select "Order Support"
EDIT 2: Looks like they're down for maintenance . -
if you ordered via a sales rep (over the phone order), call your rep asap. They usually always will take care of it since they want you to call them directly in the future.
One lesson I learned, before buying any Dell item, check the price on the site first - then call em up and talk to a rep. Reps can take coupons and almost always will knock some money off.
Good luck - just raise a stink. If they wont do it, hang up and keep calling back. -

I was able to redo the order mostly, except I did not get credit for the fact that with some deals dell is offering the 8x drive for free. regardless I am happy thanks again.
>:0 pricing issues.
