I'm having a really hard time getting audio to output over HDMI on my m1330 and after countless hours of searching on this site, avsforum, avforum, dell support and Panasonic's website...I found out that there's very little info on this.
So, please help out and post whether or not you're able to get this to work and if so, please tell us what your exact setup is like:
HDMI AUDIO OUTPUT: yes / no
OPERATING SYSTEM: xp / vista
LAPTOP MODEL: m1330 / m1530 / etc
HIGH-DEF AUDIO DRIVER & VERSION: Sigmatel 6.10.0.5609 / other (please specify, you can find it in your Device Manager)
OUTPUT DEVICE: tv / receiver
MAKE & MODEL: manufacturer + model
ENCODED FORMAT TYPE: dts audio / dolby digital / ms wma pro audio
SAMPLE RATE: 44.1 / 48.0 / 88.2 / 96.0 / 176.4
Thanks for your contribution! Hopefully, we can get a good database going to help with setup and troubleshooting.
Let me know if I missed anything.
